I also learned to add sound to the world. You can create a sound and import it into your level ( I used the one the exercise file gave me). Just place the icon in the level and set up the frequency and the sound will be played in the area you placed it in. (I hope you can hear it).
The Plural sight also taught me how to make player and how to interact with the environment around me. I created the character by adding a camera where the head should be, put in some props and code them to make sure everything works the way it should.
I made an interaction where you get near an object, such as the door, and I made it move. You add a matinee to it, program the trigger, and you got yourself a moving door.
Finally I learned how to make a sentence pop up on an object. You go to blueprints and set up a "Monitor" where the object can say whatever you want. Just simply type the sentence or word, code it in the monitor blueprint, place it in the world and watch the words display.
